Chicago's 50th Film Festival
October 9-23, 2014
The festival is North America's oldest competitive international film festival. It works to foster a better understanding between cultures, and to making a positive contribution to the art form of the moving image. The films featured are ones that would generally be unavailable in Chicago, and filmgoers have the change to meet producers, directors, writers and cast members. There are also introductions to the films, and discussion sessions after the screenings.
Tickets start at $5, and you can buy passes over the phone, online, or in person:
AMC River East 21
322 E. Illinois St.
